This film makes the commercially pure Titanium Grade 2 Netting Wire Mesh which are resistant to most oxidizing, neutral and inhibited reducing as well as mildly reducing environments. Titanium Grade 2 Woven Wire Mesh is often used in the Aerospace industry, Chemical, and marine applications, Electroplating industry, and Medical industry. Although “commercially pure”, Titanium Grade 2 Spring Steel Wire Mesh has acceptable mechanical properties and has been used for orthopedic and dental implants.
For most applications, Titanium Grade 2 Fencing Wire Mesh is alloyed with small amounts of aluminum and vanadium, typically 6 % and 4 % respectively, by weight. Ti Alloy Gr. 2 Wire Mesh is the most commonly used Titanium worldwide and is the most commonly used alloy in the oilfield. Ti Alloy Gr. 2 Hexagonal Wire Mesh can easily be cold-rolled, but cold drawing is very difficult because of frequent seizing on the die. Ti Alloy Gr. 2 Welding Wire Mesh is used in a variety of industries such as chemical, marine, medical, recreational, and aerospace. In the corrosion environment, the surface of high purity Titanium Grades 2 Hexagonal Wire Mesh will form an oxidation film layer to protect wire mesh from being corroded.
