Duplex 32205 Steel is an alloy comprising 3% Molybdenum, 22% Chromium, and about 5-6% Nickel. This alloy is an austenitic-ferritic type steel, providing corrosion resistance comparable to austenitic steels. Duplex Steels, in general, offer better ductility and greater toughness compared to austenitic grades.
Our WNR 1.4462 Check Valves can be used in a variety of industries, including biofuel plants and other demanding applications. Duplex Steel 2205 Ball Valves are cost-effective due to their lower nickel and molybdenum content. These valves also have higher yield strength compared to other austenitic steels.
