Product Description

Duplex Stainless Steel S31803 Fasteners are made from a blend of two types of stainless steel: ferritic and austenitic. They contain small amounts of molybdenum, nickel, and chromium. This combination gives them high strength, good fatigue resistance, and excellent durability. These fasteners are designed to resist severe conditions such as crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting, making them ideal for challenging environments with chloride and sulfide stresses.

These fasteners are machined using high-speed or carbide tools. They are hot worked at temperatures between 954°C and 1149°C and cold worked with standard techniques to achieve the desired specifications.
